The V5 Max is a QMK custom mechanical keyboard with 2.4 GHz wireless and Bluetooth 5.1 connection. Coming in an 1800 compact layout, it offers a gasket mount design, sound-absorbing foam, double-shot PBT keycaps, and more to take your typing experience to a new level, delivering enhanced comfort and productivity.

All-Around Customizable Keyboard: To build a fully customizable keyboard, we designed every component to be easily assembled so you can customize and adjust any or every parts the way you want.

2.4 GHz & Bluetooth Connection: Experience peak gaming performance on the fly with the 2.4 GHz wireless connection boasting a rapid 1000 Hz polling rate. For seamless multitasking across your computer, phone, and tablet, you can effortlessly connect the V5 Max via Bluetooth 5.1 to three devices.

Dual Receivers: For a better 2.4 GHz wireless experience, the V5 Max comes with Type-C and Type-A receivers. Enjoy the quick plug-and-play time. Or, put them away in the keyboard magnetic storage slot at the top right corner.

An Epic Core Inside The Keyboard: A powerful ARM architecture MCU equipped with 256K Flash will provide more flexibility for developers. The polling rate is 1000 Hz right out of the box, which makes the latency hardly noticeable even in competitive games.

OSA Profile Double-shot PBT Keycaps: These double-shot PBT keycaps have a similar height to the OEM profile and has an SA-like shape. We named it the OSA (OEM spherical angled) keycap. The PBT keycaps will provide excellent oil resistance, enhance the type feel, and prevent the legends from fading out.

Switch Layouts Between macOS & Windows: Built with the Mac users’ experience in mind while still retaining compatibility for Windows devices, the Keychron V5 Max comes with a system toggle and an additional set of customized keycaps for both Windows and macOS systems. You can now save two different layouts on the keyboard, one for each system.

Gasket Mount Design: By adopting a gasket mount design along with a PC (Polycarbonate) plate, the V5 Max reduces acoustic resonance, delivering a softer and quieter typing experience with enhanced flexibility.

Program with QMK & Launcher: The open-source QMK firmware means endless possibilities for key remapping, macros, shortcuts, and more. Now you can easily customize each key with the Keychron Launcher web app.

How-Swappable: The hot-swappable sockets are mounted on the PCB, so you can install or change the switches without soldering. The PCB supports both 3-pin and 5-pin MX mechanical switches.

South-Facing RGB LED Lights: The south-facing RGB LED is designed to better illuminate the keyboard backlight from the typist’s angle with the premium non-shine-through PBT keycaps installed. The south-facing RGB is also free from interference when the users install OEM or Cherry-profile alternative keycaps on the keyboard.

Gateron Jupiter Switch: Our exclusive Gateron Jupiter mechanical switch (for the Fully Assembled version only) comes with a 3-pin design, its pre-lubed with a reliable Gateron quality standard with up to 80 million keystrokes lifespan. While their unique LED diffuser design offers high RGB backlight transmittance and softer backlight effect. The banana switch provides an early tactile bump at the top with a uniquely smooth experience like those Panda switches on the market.

Screw-In PCB Stabilizers: Even small part matters for your fingertip feel. We’ve integrated the PCB-mounted screw-in stabilizers for a smoother typing experience with less wobbliness on the big keys such as space bar, shift, enter, and delete. The Keychron V5 Max also supports third-party screw-in PCB stabilizers.
